Headed by band leader Zak Fielden, Skyway 61 has taken over the Knoxville music scene.
as of March 2024 the Lineup includes Zack Fielden and David Alan on guitar, James Gilley on Drums, Alden Duren on vocals and Kaleb Fielden on Bass.
Skyway 61 is not only playing some of Knoxville’s favorite venues including The Open Chord Stage, The Concourse, and The Shed in Maryville. Lately, the band has been venturing out of state.
Skyway has been though a few line-up changes throughout the year. The currently roster is legendary and is sure to leave lasting marks on the music scene.
I have had the honor to mix and produce for skyway the past year, along with booking them at my home venue, Open Chord Stage. What makes Skyway 61 special is the energy rarely matched.
As a music promoter, audio, and lighting engineer I get to listen to bands for a living. It is rare that a band stands out like skyway. Watching them live is defiantly worth the trip out.
